Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hour days sanding floors and taking wallpaper down with one baby strapped to my back and the others crawling in the playpen. Ha! We were getting close to being done, yet we were a long way off. It would take lots of time and money and my personal favorite brands interiors to decorate this place. In order to stay in my budget, I took my boys along with me as I searched for hidden treasures at estate sales. Our weekly routine which consisted of spending the week from the week of Thursday to Saturday scouring estate and garage sales, buying old and new objects. I spent the rest of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. It looked a bit similar to this... This is the place where my passion for the restoration of antique furniture began. Even though our home had been decorated, I was unable to stop. I had a stand at the local market and sold pieces there. In the end, I was stuffed with too many pieces to store in the available space. There were open houses at my house that saw more than 1 000 visitors could visit in one weekend, and purchase whatever they saw on the first floor. It was here that my business Growing Days was born. Growing Days was not only an extremely successful company, it was also my sweet family. In some ways, I had found the perfect way to balance being a mom and launching my business. Growing Days was the obvious decision. Nora was born in 2013 to be our fourth baby. I loved where my business was going, but I wanted to take a breather. I decided to stop working on my antique furniture and be at home with the children. In the beginning, this was what I wanted. After a while, without a phone, it began to ring. They were asking for assistance with interior decorating and home renovations. A majority of them came into my residence at my open house for furniture. As I went along, I added clients to my list one by one. However, it didn't take long before I managed many clients and operated an extremely successful business of home renovation. There is a good chance that I would have laughed if someone had told me the company was to become the premise of an upcoming TV show on DIY Network. Indeed, I am laughing at times when I think of it.
