Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August, 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. She is known for her role as naive delightful characters. Adams was a seventh 7-year-old within Castle Rock Colorado. In the early 1990s, Adams started dancing and performing professionally for the Boulder Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. After making her screen debut as a ditzy but good-natured contestant she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. From June 1951 to September 22, 1962 she was wed to the actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was caught by actress Norma shearer and was offered a contract to join MGM in the late 1940s. Over the course of the 1960s, Leigh starred in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
