Bill Self, a popular and wealthy basketball coach, was born in Okmulgee Oklahoma on the 27th of December 1962. Bill's estimated net worth at the time of writing is around $10 million. His coaching career began in 2013 when he was Kansas's first-year sensation Andrew Wiggins. Self restored the Golden Eagles and was then appointed as a coach at Tulsa. Self spent three seasons (from 1998 through 2000) with Tulsa with a remarkable 74-25 record. Self served as the head coach for Tulsa's Golden Hurricane in consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (1999 and 2000). Self led his team of Golden Hurricane in 1999-2000 to their first Elite Eight. He also established a record for the school by winning 32 games. Coach of basketball in the college level that led the Kansas University team to an NCAA Championship to 2012. The coach in 2012 received the Naismith College Coaching of the year prize. Following year, the coach also won the fourth Big 12 Award for Coach of The Year. Cindy Self, his wife for 29 years, was born in 1989. Tyler is his son. and Lauren Lauren is the name that Self has given his children. Self was born in the city of Okmulgee Oklahoma where his father was the girl's basketball coach at close by Morris High School. Self was awarded a scholarship to play basketball at Oklahoma State University. He won the letter during his four seasons. He earned a bachelor's degree in business in 1985 and the master's degree in sports administration in 1989 both from Oklahoma State. Bill is among the most wealthy basketball coaches in the United States. Bill Self is worth 10 Million dollars as per Forbes & Business Insider. Self took over as head coach for Illinois's program on the 9th of June, 2000. Self's former coach Lon Kruger, had recently left Illinois to take a new position as Atlanta Hawks head coach in the NBA.
